Besides modaa russia *use thick accent*, I think korea is the only place where you can actually get away saying this:

Prof: “Soooo.. where’s your presentation file?”
“Sorry prof…I was..I don’t know how to say this but mm I was drinking soju last night and I might have deleted my file....”
Prof: “Ah ok.”
 “OK!? bu...”
Prof: “Submit it tomorrow”'

Or, you can actually praise your Prof by saying this:

“Prof....word is out that you drink exceptionally well.”
Prof: “그래” ( “I know”)  *can’t hide the smile*

Fascinating stuff but for a nation who considers drinking a national past time, this should be as mundane as it can get.
